Orrery Clockwork Escapement Printing

Design and 3D-print functional mechanical escapements for desk orreries that track planetary positions. Combines the sequential-discovery mechanism design from puzzle boxes with the orbital prediction algorithms from satellite tracking, producing hand-wound clockwork models where gear ratios encode actual orbital periods. Each escapement click advances the model by one sidereal day.
